New Coaches Huddle!

One of FCA's taglines is "To and Through the Coach". This phrase reminds me that one of the best ways to reach athletes for Jesus is to reach their coaches first. The coaches in the photo below do not need to be "reached". They are walking in a solid relationship with the Lord, and I get the privilege of studying the Bible with them every Wednesday morning! Three of them are brothers & cousins who grew up in the Spooner Wrestling program. Chase and Carter were involved with a wrestling club I ran several years ago (Peterson Wrestling). They went on to wrestle for the Bluegolds and were discipled by my dad at UWEC! Now they are discipling others at their schools. It is always wonderful to be part of the process of planting, watering, and harvesting that God has created. As Paul says in 1 Corinthians 3:6-7, "I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So then neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but God who causes the growth." THANK YOU for allowing me the opportunity to plant and water seeds so that God can cause the growth! I am grateful for each of you, and I pray the Lord continues growing these coaches in their walks with Christ because of your partnership in ministry.
