Camp of Champs in the Works

Many of you know about Camp of Champs Wrestling camp and the impact it made on so many people for over 40 years. It's been almost 10 years since we ran a summer camp. My dad and uncle began CoC in 1975, running camps for wrestlers of all ages. In the '90s, they were the first wrestling camp to host a father-son camp. It quickly became a wrestling community favorite! One of my goals in the next couple of years is to re-establish Camps of Champs and allow wrestlers, coaches, and dads to hear the Gospel, many for the first time! Please pray that all the preparations go smoothly and that camps can begin by the summer of 2027. I am trusting God with this endeavor, and I am grateful that FCA is willing to partner so well with other Christian ministries! One of the benefits of partnering with FCA is that it will streamline the registration process, insurance, and the acquisition of Bibles, materials, and more. One of the challenges we faced at camp was determining the best way to follow up with wrestlers who put their faith in Christ. The connection with FCA will allow us to plug those wrestlers into a Huddle(Bible Study) in their local area. It will enable us to provide them with follow-up materials and connect them with an area FCA staff member who can mentor them and help them grow in their walk with the Lord.
