TRAINING CAMP

Within our first year of full-time ministry with FCA, we are sent to the main office in Kansas City for "Training Camp" to learn the basics of FCA strategy and vision for reaching coaches and athletes with the Gospel. This year's training camp was a wonderful learning experience full of fellowship, insightful training, and wisdom from veteran FCA leaders. It was one of those "drinking from a firehose" trainings where you wish you could marinate for days in everything you just learned and experienced. Thankfully, the ride to the airport, flights, layovers and debrief with my family was a good opportunity to do just that. There is so much we can all do for the Lord, but what are the key ways the Lord can use us and our specific spiritual gifts within the ministry He has given us. Often times, we get so bogged down with worldly pursuits, distractions, and good things rather than great things. I was challenged to clearly define what is most important in my ministry and to pursue that for the Lord. Jesus spent time with his Father. He didn't spend all his time with the crowds but chose rather to spend most of his time discipling 12. Out of the 12, he spent even more time with Peter, Jame, and John. Who are the Peter, James, and John in your life that God is calling you to focus your efforts on?
