New Believers at UWEC!
Each Thursday, I make the trek to UWEC and meet with the wrestlers there for Bible study throughout the day. We have been studying the book of Daniel and learning how important it is to be bold in our faith in a world that is against Jesus. The second half of Daniel is full of prophetic material and has been a great segue to discuss Christ's return and the importance of being prepared for that day.
With Israel and the Middle East becoming a hot topic on campus, we recently studied Romans 9-11 and discussed God's promises to Abraham. What a rich passage that helps us keep it all in perspective! I am thankful that God keeps his covenant with his people, no matter how much they stumble. God remains faithful even when we fail! One of my favorite verses in scripture is Romans 11:32: "For God has consigned all people to disobedience so that he may show mercy to them all." I am so grateful for God's mercy and forgiveness!
Our time together in Romans provided a perfect opportunity to explain the Gospel and offer God's gift of salvation to the wrestlers! We are praising God for two of the freshmen who placed their faith in Jesus! Please pray for Trenton and Issac as they continue to grow and soak up God's word!
