My Hope Story

I had the opportunity to share my story with Hope Community Church in Cumberland, WI a few weeks ago. It was humbling to be able to share my story with so many families and community members that have had an impact on me and that I have also been able to impact. Lots of past students and wrestlers were in the crowd and I was thankful to be able to share with them that lasting hope can only come from Jesus. It doesn’t come from success, accolades, academics, sports, dating, friends, or anything else. God used the lowest moments in my life to draw me closer to Him. I am so thankful that God works “all things together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose.” (Romans 8:28)
