BLUEGOLDS

Each Thursday, I spend the day on campus with the UWEC wrestlers. Over half of the 40-man roster have stopped in to be discipled at some point this season! Please pray that as the wrestling season winds down and spring arrives, the wrestlers will stay consistent in meeting together for discipleship. There have been some key wrestlers who rarely miss our meetings. I plan to build into them the most so they can build into others on the team. I have been training the wrestlers in FCA's E3 strategy this semester. E3 (Engage, Equip, Empower) is designed to launch coaches and athletes into the mission field within their spheres of influence. It's a very teachable, transferable, and reproducible model based on Jesus' example of discipleship. I'm praying the Lord will continue to create a movement of Believers on the UWEC wrestling team who are actively sharing their faith and helping others grow closer to Jesus.
